Feya — Privacy Policy

Feya is a period and pregnancy tracking app built to be private by default. This policy explains exactly what data Feya handles, where it lives, and the choices you have. The short version: your health data stays on your device unless you explicitly choose to share specific fields with a partner.

1. Data stored only on your device

Everything you track in Feya is stored locally on your phone and is never uploaded to us:

• Cycle dates, period logs, and predictions
• Daily logs: symptoms, moods, sexual activity, flow, and notes
• Pregnancy details such as your due date
• Your profile (name, optional email, age, goal, avatar, reminder settings)

Deleting the app deletes this data. We have no copy of it.

2. Optional account sign-in

Feya works fully without an account. You may optionally sign in with Google or Apple so that partner pairing survives a lost or replaced phone. If you sign in, Firebase Authentication (a Google service) stores your account identifier, name, and email address. Your cycle data is not uploaded when you sign in — it stays on the device.

3. Partner sharing (opt-in)

If you choose to invite a partner, Feya creates a pairing record on Google Cloud Firestore identified by a random invite code. While sharing is active, only the fields you enable in Partner Visibility are synced:

• Current cycle phase, cycle day, and days until your next period
• Your mood for the day
• Your first name (as entered in your profile)

Your daily logs, symptoms, and notes are never shared. Tapping Stop sharing deletes the pairing record immediately for both devices. Anonymous authentication is used behind the scenes to protect these records; access is enforced by server-side security rules.

4. Diagnostics and analytics

To keep Feya reliable we use Google Firebase services:

• Crashlytics — crash reports (device model, OS version, stack traces)
• Analytics — anonymous usage events such as screens viewed
• Performance Monitoring — app start-up and screen timing

These reports never include your cycle data, logs, symptoms, moods, or notes. They are used solely to fix bugs and improve the app, and are subject to Google's privacy policy.

5. Notifications

Reminders (period, fertile window, daily log, medicine) are scheduled locally on your device. They do not use a server and their content never leaves your phone.

6. What we don't do

• We do not sell your data — to anyone, ever.
• We do not show third-party ads or share data with advertisers.
• We do not upload your health data to any server.
• We do not require an account, phone number, or any personal details.

7. Deleting your data

In Profile → Delete Account, Feya erases all local data, removes any partner pairing records from Firestore, and deletes your Firebase authentication account. This works whether or not you ever signed in. You can also simply uninstall the app to remove all local data.

8. Children

Feya is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above. Significant changes will be highlighted in the app.
